Motorcyclist Stopped For Speeding On His Way To Court
An Exeter man is facing multiple charges after being stopped for speeding while trying to get to court on time.
WABI-TV reports 28-year-old Jesse Hensley was allegedly clocked by a sheriff's deputy doing 87 in a 55 mile per hour zone on Route 2 in Canaan. Officials say Hensley was spotted making risky passes through the center of town before they were able to get him to pull over.
A check of Hensley's ID revealed that he was driving with a suspended license and was out on bail from a domestic violence charge. He told authorities that he was trying to get to court to see a judge about some pending charges.
Now, he'll be back in court in August with several more charges, including criminal speeding, driving after suspension, and violating conditions of release.
