A motorcyclist was killed in an accident over the weekend while he was taking part in a memorial procession for slain motorcyclist Antonio Balcer.

Centralmaine.com reports Christopher Graham of Farmingdale was killed Saturday afternoon when his bike struck the back of a pickup truck. He had fallen behind in the procession and was trying to catch up when the traffic stopped suddenly. Graham laid the bike down, but eventually slid into the back of the truck on Route 27 in Pittston.

The procession was held to honor Antonio Balcer who, along with his wife Alice, was killed three weeks ago in their Winthrop home. The couple's 17-year-old son is now charged with murder for their deaths. A judge has ordered a psychological evaluation on Andrew Balcer before determining whether he will be tried as a juvenile or an adult.

Balcer and Graham both belonged to the Exiles Motorcycle Club and the memorial ride was traveling from Gardiner to the clubhouse in Pittston when the accident happened. About 50 motorcyclists took part in the ride Saturday.
