More snow will be falling in Maine this week. According to the National Weather Service, some areas could get up to 8 inches of fresh snow Wednesday into Thursday.

A winter storm watch has been issued for Cumberland, Androscoggin, Kennebec, Waldo, Sagadahoc, Lincoln and Knox counties, from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

A winter storm last weekend wasn't as powerful as first predicted, as much of the state only received a few inches of snow. However, York and Washington counties received two feet of snow during the weekend storm.
