More Snow Expected for Bangor Area Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Bangor area, predicting 4 to 8 inches of blowing and drifting snow for the area into Wednesday evening.

While the brunt of the storm will be felt along the Downeast coast, the advisory now includes southern Penobscot County including the cities of Bangor, Brewer, Orono and Old Town.

The warning will be in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday to midnight.

The city of Bangor has issued a parking ban from 11 p.m. on Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
