A man wanted in Michigan in connection with the death of his wife may have been spotted at a Maine motel. Harold Knight is suspected of strangling his wife, Sara Knight, to death in January. He disappeared after her murder and was suspected to have headed to Maine.

The Knights once lived in Turner, Maine and so local police have been watching out for him. Then his Subaru Forrester, minus the Michigan license plates, was found in the Farmington Walmart parking lot, buried in snow. A surveillance video image showed Knight with his hair and mustache dyed black.

Now, according to the WGME, residents of Rangeley have told police they saw Knight near the Town and Lake Motel. He was reportedly asking about snowmobile trails in the area and was told that he could go all over the state and into Canada. WGME reports Michigan authorities believe Knight may be in Canada.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Knight is asked to notify police.
