The Science Channel recently ran a program that tells the story of the possibility that organs that are transplanted into another human may also carry the memories and personality traits of the donor.

Cases from around the world have scientifically documented that organ recipients have actually taken on personality traits of the donor. For instance, a logger receives a kidney and then suddenly has a penchant for doing housework. The kidney came from a housekeeper. Another instance explains how after receiving a heart transplant, a woman has vivid images of her donor's death in a car crash.

As odd as it may seem, it makes perfect sense. It also may justify the existence of the human soul.
