MDI Strawberry Festival Takes Place Tuesday

The MDI Strawberry Festival takes place Tuesday at the Somesville Fire House from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will feature fresh strawberries for sale by the quart and a strawberry shortcake recipe that has been handed down through the years.

The 40th annual event will be co-hosted by the Seal Cove Auto Museum and the Mount Desert Island Historical Society.
