The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency responded to a suspected meth lab in Wells on Tuesday, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

The MDEA’s meth lab response team searched a home on Post Road. A camper that was parked in the driveway was also examined.

The MDEA was assisted by the Wells police and fire departments, state chemists and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

The people who live in the home have been questioned but no arrests have been made.

It was the 45th time the MDEA has responded to a meth related incident, which is an all-time high, McCausland said.
