Living Innovations is holding a masquerade ball-themed prom for its clients and others, to benefit Special Olympics!

The prom is open to adults of differing intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom have never had the chance to go to their own prom. It should be a very fun night, with a formal theme, so folks can get dressed up and party! A DJ will provide the music and there will be yummy refreshments.

It's all happening Friday, May 12th at Hampden Academy from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $3 per person or $5 per couple. They can be reserved by calling Living Innovations at 992-2700 or just buy them at the door. Proceeds from the event will directly sponsor Special Olympics' athletes, to help cover registration and travel costs. For more information, log onto the organization's Facebook page.

You don't have to be a client of Living Innovations to attend. And you can donate to the Special Olympics fund, even if you're not going to the prom. For more information or to make a donation, contact Living Innovations at 992-2700.
