Man Thrown From Vehicle On Union Street in Bangor

A driver was ejected from his vehicle after hitting a snowbank in Bangor Monday evening.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened near Dunkin' Donuts on Union Street. The vehicle struck the snowbank and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The man, whose identity hasn't been released, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident. That section of Union Street was shut down while the scene was cleared.
