Ellsworth Police Chief, Chris Coleman, announced Tuesday that after more than 2 year of investigating, his department has arrested the man responsible for robbing the Ellsworth WalGreens Pharmacy in 2012.

The arrest is the result of an extensive investigation that started August 9th, 2012. That's when a man had entered the High Street WalGreens around 8:15 AM. He walked to the pharmacy and handed an employee a note demanding the store’s complete supply of a certain prescription drug. He also told the worker that he’d “shoot the place up” if he didn’t get it.

Detective Small and Officer Wilmot have now arrested Nicholas St. Louis (32) of Otis for robbery (Class B) and stealing drugs (Class C). St. Louis was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
