Man Allegedly Tries To Drive Truck Across ATV Bridge

A China man is facing charges after game wardens say he damaged an ATV bridge trying to drive his truck across it.

The Maine Warden Service says Tyonek Thurlow, 26, drove his truck down a section of ATV trail between Pleasant View Ridge Road and Bog Brook Road in China early Sunday morning.

Game wardens say Thurlow attempted to cross a bridge but the vehicle got stuck and caused damage to the structure.

Thurlow was charged with criminal mischief, attaching false registration plates and operating a motor vehicle on an ATV trail.

An ATV club representative said the group would seek restitution.
