A 29-year-old man has been arrested after police say he was selling crack cocaine from his home near Presumpscot School in Portland.

Kerwin Lamour was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his home on Washington Ave. Tuesday morning.

Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, says Maine DEA agents and the Portland Police Department spent a month investigating Lamour’s alleged drug-dealing operation.

As part of the investigation, McCausland says undercover DEA agents purchased the drug at Lamour’s home.

Police say they also discovered marijuana, two handguns and ammunition inside the suspect’s home.

Lamour has been charged with aggravated trafficking in crack cocaine.
