Mainer’s Nashville Dream Comes True As She Sings On-Stage in Nashville [VIDEO]

You've seen Sharon Hood on stage many times in Maine, as the lead singer for the band Dixon Road. But this week, a dream came true when she got to sing on a Nashville stage!

Sharon, who is also a former Townsquare Media morning show co-host (like me!), has been posting all over Facebook this week about her journey to Music City during CMA week. It started out on a sour note as her flight was canceled. However, it turned around for her, because I've been seeing pictures of performances that she's attended.

But her one dream has always been to sing on stage in Nashville. And this week, that dream came true when she talked to Spencer Maise (seen in the video) and Wes Loper, who were performing at The Swingin' Doors Saloon. They made a place for her, she settled in, and sounded amazing! (As a matter of fact, Spencer asked her why she doesn't live there!)
