A Staff Sergeant from Maine who ran with an American Flag at the Super Bowl has shared a couple videos of his experience.

August O'Niell is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force who's originally from Stonington. He lost his leg due to injuries in Afghanistan, but that hasn't slowed him down. He currently works with the U.S. Air Force Para-rescue squad.

And, on Sunday, he ran before the Atlanta Falcons, carrying an American Flag. He told WABI-TV that it was awesome to be a part of the Super Bowl, and to share in the Patriots' big win. The two videos from his Instagram feed will give you a feel for his experience. We think he represented our Country and the state of Maine very well!
