Maine Soccer Player’s Spectacular Goal Gets National Attention [WATCH]

An amazing flip throw-in goal from a freshman soccer player from the University of Maine at Farmington is getting national attention. Luke Sterling's goal vs. Green Mountain College on Sunday is even being featured on ESPN's SportsCenter.

The video of the spectacular goal from Sterling, a former Edward Little High School soccer standout, had been viewed more than 7,000 times on Facebook, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Sun Journal reports that ESPN asked UMF for permission to air the video on SportsCenter Wednesday.
