This stay-at-home dad of 3 children, grew up in Portland, Maine. Who is... Ben Hemmens?

Ben took in $26,801 on his first round of 'Jeopardy' moving him onto another round last night! Answer after answer he was on top of his game! New challengers Alyson Lamble from Kansas City, MO and John Hendel from Los Angeles tried their best but were no match for big Ben! I am calling him big Ben from now on because he looked like Andre the Giant next to the contestants last night.

In the final round before the 'Final Jeopardy' question, Ben had $16,200 putting him way ahead of second place John with $8,000 and Alyson with $3,800.

All of the contestants got the 'Final Jeopardy' question right. Ben only bet $199. John bet $399 and ended with $8,399, and Alyson bet nothing so she remained at $3,800.

Even with Ben's small bet he took the win and ended last night with a grand total of $43,200. He moves on once again on tonights episode on ABC at 7:30PM.

A reminder, contestants continue in the game until they are defeated so Ben could be in this for a while! The longest running winner was Ken Jennings back in the early 2000's who won 74 games straight before being defeated by Nancy Zerg.
