A man from Portland is charged with trespassing after allegedly passing a note to a guard at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island Beach House. And this is not the first time it's happened.

According to the Associated Press, 55-year-old Joseph Bernatche allegedly handed the security guard at the house a note with his cell phone number. The note asked Swift to call him.

This is not the first time Bernatche has visited the singer. A similar visit in April earned him a no-trespass notice from police.

Bernatche is due in court Friday in Rhode Island for a pretrial conference. He has pleaded not guilty to a charge of willful trespass after his July 27th arrest.

His lawyer, Michael J. Robinson, says Bernatche was not on the property when he passed the note to the guard, and so it's not trespassing. He said he doesn't know whether Bernatche has ever met Swift.
