Maine Is A State That Few “Would Leave If They Could” – Poll Results

We love our state and now it's proven!  Maine is one of the states that has the fewest people wanting to leave!

According to a new Gallup poll, 23% of the people surveyed here in Maine "would leave if they could."  We're right there with Montana and Hawaii at 23%!

What states have the most residents eagerly wanting to exit their boundaries?  Those would be Illinois at 50% and Connecticut at 49%.

Overall, 33 percent of Americans would like to leave the state that they live in.  Guess the grass is always greener elsewhere.  But, the survey also says that only 6% will actually move away.  The top reasons why?  Work, family and then the weather.
