As we told you last week, the Warden Service is looking for new recruits. Now, an inspiring new recruitment video shows what Game Wardens do and lists qualities expected of successful candidates. Plus, the photography is beautiful!

This wonderfully shot video shows the four-seasons aspect of the job, from working in the summer sun to slogging through deep snow. It's all just part of the job. I spoke with Corporal John MacDonald last week who said, like any law enforcement job, it can be extremely rewarding and can also be equally difficult. He said there are some very lofty 'highs.' But there are also some very difficult 'lows' with searches and recoveries of people who are lost.

Then there's the public aspect of the job. Education in schools and summer camps, and public appearances at sporting shows. Oh....yeah...and you might see your face on TV with that 'North Woods Law' show!

I was a little disappointed with the video, I have to admit. I mean, it's a great video! But I didn't see a single shot of the guys covered in eggs for the Pine Tree Camp. What's up with that?!
