Music, food, comedy and camping are all part of an event planned for Lincoln County this weekend.

The 2015 CountryGrass Festival will take place August 14-16 at Broken Acres Farm and Family Retreat on Valley Road in Jefferson.

The event will include a performance from comedian Birdie Googins (The Marden's lady) on Friday night from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Following Birdie, Maine's Grand Ladies of Country Music (Pat Thompson, Allison Ames, Debbie Myers, Marlene Carpenter and Cathy Severance) will play from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On Saturday night, Denny Breau will perform from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The event includes free camping and lots of great food, including bean hole beans, hamburgers, hot dogs and desserts.
