Governor Paul Lepage kicked off Maine Farm Days today, he said, "This is a time of great promise and opportunity for Maine agriculture. While the number of farms in the U.S. has decreased, Maine has added farms and increased the market value of its agricultural products by 24 percent, to $763,062,000. Maine Farm Days is an excellent opportunity to meet some of the people contributing to this growth and learn how much of our food is produced and where it comes from.”

Misty Meadows Farm is owned and operated by John and Belinda Stoughton, and Thomas and Kimberly Wright.  It's located in Clinton at 71 McKenney Road.

Some of the other activities at the farm include Whoopie pie and apple pie eating contests, a Children's Learning Center, a corn maze, wagon tours, crafter's booths, a children's milking contest and a chicken bar-b-que.
