Maine DOT Park and Ride Policies Change in November

Most changes are to accommodate snow removal but some of the other new rules have to do with vehicle size and duration of parking.

New rules include a ban on trailers or any vehicles longer than 24-feet from parking in the lots. Between Nov. 1 and April 30, vehicles will no longer be able to park in the same spot for more than 24 hours, and using the same lot for more than 7 days is prohibited.

New rules take effect November first.
