If you are someone 18 years old or older with high enthusiasm, good energy, health, and adaptability this might be a great way for you to enjoy your summer!

The Maine Appalachian Trail Club is looking for volunteers to join them June 19 to August 22 for one or more weeks. Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt in addition to free meals, and necessary gear like tents and packs. Transportation to and from Bangor International Airport and Bus Depot are included as well.

Some of the fun perks of the job will be the opportunity to build stonework that will last forever, make lots of new friends, see lots of Maine's wildlife while staying at in mountain campsites, all while getting lots of Appalachian hiking miles.

Willingness to follow instructions, comply with safety rules, and share camp chores is essential.  Experience helps, but they do teach the necessary skills.

All the details and how to sign up to reserve your spot can be found on their website MATC.org
