Driving too fast for road conditions is suspected to have caused a single vehicle crash in the town of Orient, involving a log truck. It was around 1:30 this afternoon when State Police were called to a tractor trailer rollover on Route 1 in that town. No one was seriously hurt.

Maine State Police say that 34-year-old Joshua Fogg of Forrest City was operating a 1999 Kentworth truck South on Route 1 hauling a load of logs. The driver reportedly lost control due to driving too fast for the ice and poor tire condition on the trailer.

The company has been charged with having five inadequate tires on the trailer. The truck sustained disabling damage and both truck and trailer were towed to a garage in Danforth. Fogg sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
