Local Construction Company Plans To Hire 300 New Employees

Pittsfield-based Cianbro Corp. plans to hire 300 construction workers, according to a press release sent out by the company on Monday.

The company says additional workers are needed for a number of projects, including the replacement of the Sarah Long Bridge in Kittery, bridge work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and the expansion of the International Marine Terminal in Portland.

Cianbro is seeking pipe welders, pipe fitters, millwrights, ironworkers/riggers, electricians, construction foremen, superintendents, carpenters, concrete specialists, mechanical foremen, schedulers, and crane operators.
