One of the most iconic figures to grace science fiction television and the movie world is fading fast. Leonard Nimoy, better recognized as the character, Spock, on the long running Star Trek series, is very ill.

Nimoy recently revealed that he has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), from years of smoking, although he quit the nasty habit 30 years ago. He is now encouraging everyone who smokes that if they want to 'Live Long and Prosper,' they need to quit smoking now before it's too late.
