A Lisbon man was arrested last week after police say he set furniture on fire and broke a television in front of his girlfriend and her two children.

Chase Hunter, 23, was charged with domestic violence terrorizing after the incident on Upland Road, according to WGME.

Hunter “started to burn the top of the victim’s dresser with a torch-like lighter, and he broke a flat-screen TV,” said Lisbon Police Chief Marc Hagan.

Hunter was being held without bail Tuesday due to a charge of violation of conditions of release. He is scheduled to appear in court in Androscoggin County Sept. 6.

The children involved in the incident were 1 and 3 years old.
