A Lincoln man, out on bail following his arrest for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine, was arrested again after he was pulled over by a Lincoln police officer on West Broadway on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, Jared Lovett, 29, was charged in Skowhegan with manufacturing meth, reports the Bangor Daily News.

As part of Lovett’s bail conditions, police were given the right to pull him over and search his vehicle, said Dan Summers, Lincoln's public safety director.

When Lovett was pulled over by Officer John Walsh, items known to be used to manufacture meth, including hoses, camp fuel, Gatorade bottles and containers of sulfuric acid, were discovered in Lovett's vehicle, Summers said.

Lovett was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and violation of conditions of release.

He's scheduled to appear at the Penobscot Judicial Center on July 14 and is currently being held without bail on the violation of conditions of release charge.
