A Limestone man pleaded guilty to his ninth OUI Wednesday and was sentenced to nine years in prison with all but seven years suspended.

Mark Burson, 56, will also serve three years of probation, and his license will be suspended for 10 years.

Burson was arrested on Aug. 7 after his pickup truck struck a Topsham police cruiser on the southbound I-295 offramp in Topsham.

The Bangor Daily News reported that Burson's blood alcohol content was four times the legal limit.

The officer riding in the cruiser that was struck by Burson's pickup truck suffered whiplash and neck pain and was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick for treatment.
