A 19-year-old from Limerick is dead and a 20-year-old injured after a single-car crash in that town.

According to the BDN, York County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the crash site on the Burnham Road at around 7:30 Monday morning. When they arrived, they found that two men had been ejected from the vehicle that had struck a utility pole and rolled over.

Austin Pfeiffer, 19, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene. The driver, 20-year-old Caleb Washburn, was taken to the hospital with shoulder and leg injuries. Both men are from Limerick.

Police say excessive speed appears to have been a factor in the crash. Neither of the men were wearing seat belts.
