A Lewiston man is charged with robbing a local wine store and severely assaulting a female employee.

Arthur Bush has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and robbery, reports CBS 13.

Bush is accused of robbing the Vault, a craft beer and wine store on Lisbon Street in Lewiston.

The store's owner, Keith Tannenbaum, said one of his employees was severely beaten during the robbery.

“Aside from some wounds that are visible, she’ll be OK,” Tannenbaum said.

The victim has since been treated and released from the hospital.

The Lewiston Police Department on Monday posted several photos of the suspect and urged anyone with information on his identity to contact the police department.

The department used their Facebook page on Tuesday to thank the public for helping them locate the suspect.
