The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says five Knox County residents were arrested in a series of drug busts Monday night.

In a news release on Tuesday, Maine DEA officials said drug agents seized 162 Oxycodone pills, 16 Klonopin pills, 8 Suboxone strips, 6 Suboxone pills, hypodermic needles and more than $5,000 in cash.

  • Kathleen Zable, 24, of South Thomaston is now charged with trafficking Oxycodone.
  • Kevin Richards, 25, of South Thomaston is charged with possession of Suboxone and violating probation.
  • Jason Walsh, 33, of South Thomaston is charged with trafficking Oxycodone.
  • Karrie Prior, 24, of Friendship was charged with falsifying physical evidence and violating probation.
  • Duane Natale, 37, of South Thomaston was charged with possession of Oxycodone.

Richards and Natale were taken into custody at their homes in South Thomaston.

Walsh, Zable and Prior were arrested following traffic stops in Thomaston and South Thomaston.

The Oxycodone was coming into Maine from New Bedford, Massachusetts, the release said.
