Knox County Airport Troubled By Tires And Offering Reward
The maintenance staff at the Knox County Airport is looking for information about who dumped a bunch of tires on their property.
In a post on the department's Facebook page, the KCRA Maintenance Department said they're seeking the public's help finding the person or persons responsible for dumping 44 used tires and rims on county property. The pile of tires was left at the intersection of Dublin Road and Ballyhac Road in Owls Head sometime between 5 and 8 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Anyone with information about the tires is asked to contact the Knox County Sheriff's Department at (207) 594-0429, or the maintenance department at (207) 593-9323. All tips will remain confidential.
