Kenny Chesney's 2016 summer tour isn't set to begin for another month, but he gave the fans packed into a Key West, Fla., bar on Monday night (March 21) a taste of what's to come with a free "keg show."

Fans crowded into Sloppy Joe's -- and onto the street outside -- for a happy hour set from the country superstar. According to a press release, the show ran more than three hours long and included hits such as "Beer in Mexico," "'Til It's Gone" and "Pirate Flag." “We’ve been off, and we’re getting to know each other again,” Chesney told his audience. “Nothing gets us as in the mood to go out and play music for you all summer long quite like coming down to the Florida Keys and doing this show."

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and several NFL players were in the audience, while two fellow country stars made onstage appearances: Eric Church performed "Springsteen," "Drink in My Hand" and "Mr. Misunderstood," while Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey helped out on "Save It for a Rainy Day." Chesney also covered everyone from the Kinks ("You Really Got Me") to Willie Nelson ("Whiskey River"), Alabama ("Dixieland Delight") and George Strait ("The Fireman").

“There is nothing, after several months off, like coming together, hitting a bar and just playing ’til we wanna drop, to remember every single thing you love about music: how it feels, what it means, the way it charges people up," Chesney says. "There is no feeling like it ..."

Chesney's 2016 Spread the Love Tour, which will also feature Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion, is set to kick off on April 23 at the Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., as part of the inaugural Music & Miracles Superfest. He is also set to headline one night of the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, which will take place in June in Hunter, N.Y.

Chesney is planning to release new music this spring, including a brand-new single, "Noise," on Thursday (March 24).
