Kenny Chesney Added To Bangor Waterfront Concert Lineup

Heads up, No Shoes Nation. Kenny Chesney became the latest country superstar to announce a summertime show on the Bangor waterfront.

Chensey announced on Friday that his tour will stop at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018.

Old Dominion will open for Chesney, who played to big crowds in Bangor in 2015 and 2016. Old Dominion opened for Chensey at that 2016 show.

The summer concert season in Bangor will have a "big three." The Chesney announcement comes a day after both Jason Aldean and Keith Urban announced 2018 shows in Bangor. Aldean (with Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina) will play on May 27, and Urban (with Kelsea Ballerini) will play on Aug. 5.

Waterfront Concerts will offer three "megatcket" options (pit, seating or lawn) which give ticket holders access to all three shows. Ticket prices start at $125. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26.

The "megaticket" only is available for 30 days and must be purchased by 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018.
