What can we say about actress, Judi Dench, one of Hollywood's most recognizable characters. You probably recognize her from the James Bond movies as she played the part of 'M,' Bond's boss lady. Unfortunately she was killed off in the last Bond creation, 'Skyfall.' But it hasn't kept her from movie making. Dench's 'Philomena' is due to be released this month, but before the November 27th release, she's in a battle with the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) to get them tho change their 'R' rating.

The MPAA's rating system has been around since 1922, and represents the big movie-making studios. Their system of rating movies has always rankled the nerves of producers. An 'R' rating opposed to a 'PG' rating can literally mean millions of dollars lost. But there reasoning for an 'R' rating for 'Philomena' may very well be justified, as profanity is reportedly laced throughout the movie. It really is a matter of morals and interpretation. However, Dench and the Weinstein Movie Company decided to resurrect 'M' to get their point across. Quite amusing, really.

And by the way, the 'Philomena' trailer looks fantastic. I can't wait for it to come out.
