Josh Gracin had neighbors and police racing to his door after what appeared to be a suicide note on Facebook. You may remember his songs "Nothin' To Lose", "Brass Bed", and "We Weren't Crazy". The 33-year-old American Idol Season 2 Finalist was on a psychiatric hold after willingly driving himself to a hospital when police pulled him over. Police went to Gracin's home first in Spring Hill, TN (where he lives with his wife and 4 kids) to check up on him after a family member saw his Facebook post. Gracin wasn't home, but his wife answered the door and talked to police, who got Josh on the phone.

The Facebook post read:

"I've loved her for 17 years... I've made mistakes ... I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her the most... I love you all ... You have given me the greatest gift. You allowed me to touch your hearts with what I loved to do the most... Please remember me as someone who gave his all in music... Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye."

Gracin's post was removed from Facebook. His manager then posted a message saying Josh was safe and with his family.
