Joan Rivers Rocks!

I just read this great story about Joan Rivers that still has me laughing. Have you heard about her latest stunt? She got some free publicity for her always-outrageous behavior...but this time from an unusual source!

Joan has a new book out called "I Hate Everyone....Starting With Me." Well, when the 79-year-old star of "The Fashion Police" heard that the Costco chain was not selling her book, she decided to do something about it.

Police were called to the Costco outlet in Burbank after Joan Rivers handcuffed herself to a shopping cart! And you know that her mouth never stopped the whole time she was there! Joan was escorted from the scene and no charges were filed.

But think about this! Joan Rivers made national news for a silly little stunt AND got people talking about the fact that she has a new book. She'll be the subject of late night TV monologues for days, if not longer. What a brilliant move! I mean, it wouldn't have been if the police decided to press charges. But what would they charge her with? Bravo, Joan! You're an inspiration to marketing experts everywhere! Haha!
