Jennifer Nettles Performs ‘I Want You To Want Me’ With Cheap Trick [Watch]

Jennifer Nettles shows off her rock side on a recent duet with Cheap Trick. The singer took the stage at CMT Crossroads for the second time for the collaboration, more than a decade after she joined forces with Bon Jovi and her band Sugarland.

Kicking off the new season of CMT Crossroads, Nettles and the classic rockers taped their performance recently in Nashville for an episode that will air March 24 on CMT. The first song performance made available to the public is a spirited version of "I Want You To Want Me," in which Nettles and frontman Robin Zander trade lines on each verse.

Dressed in a black, form-fitting ensemble and black booties, Nettles is all smiles as she sings along word for word to the Illinois-based rockers' 1977 guitar-driven hit. When she's not singing into the microphone, she's looking at Zander and mouthing along to each lyric.

The new season of CMT Crossroads was recently revealed, and this year's lineup pairs Jason Derulo with Luke Bryan, Nick Jonas with Thomas Rhett and Rob Thomas with Charles Kelley. The new season begins on March 24 with Nettles and Cheap Trick at 11PM ET/PT.

When she's not joining Cheap Trick on stage, Nettles is readying her new album, Playing With Fire. Her second solo release will be available on May 13.
