Jason Aldean is back in the studio working on the follow-up to his Old Boots, New Dirt album.

The new album, which at this point, doesn't have a release date or title, will be Aldean's seventh album.

If Aldean can match the success of Old Boots, New Dirt he should be in pretty good shape. The album was awarded a Billboard Music Award for Top Country Album and the recording's latest single, “Tonight Looks Good on You,” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Aldean isn't just spending time in the studio, he's also touring the country on his Burn It Down Tour, which will collide with Kenny Chesney's Big Revival Tour in Foxboro, MA next month. The two will play at Gillette Stadium on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29.

Apparently excited to let fans know about the upcoming album, Aldean posted this photo on social media this week...
