It’s Maine Restaurant Week!

March first kicks off Maine Restaurant Week.  From the first to the 14^th certain area restaurants will offer specifically priced three-course meals. Most of the participating dining facilities in the Bangor area are offering these special prices for dinner as a way to showcase their culinary talents.

Restaurant week originated in New York City and caught on in Maine in 2009 and has had a growing list of participants ever since.  Participants range from local eateries to hotels, inns, and bars, all offering their best dishes.

Some of the restaurants participating in the Bangor area are Seasons, Thistles, Sea Dog and new comer Blaze. All four are offering special priced dinners and Blaze is offering lunch as well.

Because these Restaurants are giving you a break with a great meal for good prices, don't forget to tip well! These locations might be busier than usual so reservations are a good idea!
