It’s International Tuba Day! Let’s ‘Oompah’ All Day Long!

One of the instruments that no one seems to really want to play has it's own day, and today we celebrate 'International Tuba Day'

Today is a day set aside to recognize Tuba players all over the world who love their instrument, although they struggle on a daily basis...what do these players of the sousaphone struggle with? Well first, the size and weight of the instrument we celebrate today, secondly the stereo-type that these folks have no real musical talent, no personality, just big puffy cheeks and powerful lungs. Well that's not the case at all, so today, find your favorite Tuba player, give them a hug, and let them know they're appreciated!
