Because my 27-year-old son, Wes, is an avid fan of any Marvel or DC Comic superhero movie to hit the big screen, eventually I get to watch them on blu-ray DVD in the comfort of my own home--I've liked most of them. Nothing beats home for movie watching.

But for a good movie that I can't wait to see, I'll tolerate the challenges that theaters bring: rustling candy bags, popcorn smacking, big drink slurping, cell phone chatting-texting noises and lights that irritate the heck out of me.

Now I don't profess to get all giddy with excitement every time a new movie trailer plays during preview time, but one trailer in particular got the audience shouting just before 'Skyfall' last weekend at the Bangor Mall Cinemas: Iron Man 3.

I have seen Iron Man 1 & 2. They were both pretty good. But the trailer to Iron Man 3, with Robert Downey, Jr., Gwenyth Paltrow, and Ben Kingsley looks awesome. Come April of 2013 I'll be at the movies taking in what looks like to be a blockbuster flick.

Don't believe me? Check it out:
