In case you missed it; check out the video of conversations Cindy and Scott had with Pine Tree Camper, Nicholas Alexander. He explains better than anyone why he LOVES the Pine Tree Camp!

When I walked into the room at Dysart's on Broadway, the first thing I heard was Nicholas asking Amy when her son Bradley was going to be heading to camp over the summer. Nick and Bradley like to be at camp together, so they plan a head. WAY a head! This is how much the Pine Tree Camp means to the campers. They spend the winter looking forward to a summer of outdoor fun!

Nicholas and Scott hit it off immediately, when they each realized that they're both huge hockey fans. Scott tried to stump Nick a few times, but it didn't work. He's very knowledgeable and wants to pursue sports management as a career. But the funniest moment had to be when Nicholas asked Scott if he'd heard of a player that was being traded. Scott hadn't heard and questioned him about it, getting quick responses back from Nicholas, before the smiling laughing 14-year-old admitted that he'd made the whole thing up. He got Scott good, which was awesome!

This is the 30th Anniversary for the Q-106.5 Pine Tree Camp Egg Ride, and we need your help to make it bigger and better than ever! You can make an online donation by clicking the button below, or call (207) 991-9500 to make a pledge. All the money raised goes directly to the Pine Tree Camp to help send kids to camp, which has a no-camper-turned-away policy. Families are asked to pay what they can afford, and your donations make up the remainder of the registration fees.

Just watch Nicholas light up as he talks about camp and you'll want to help send others there, as well! Special thanks go to Nicholas, Bradley, and their families for their fundraising efforts. They call us every year with the totals of money they've raised and have us add them to our egg count.

For every $50 in total donations that we receive, the Q-staff and our celebrity riders will put a raw egg in our snowsuits. We'll then hop on sleds and ride from the Hungry Hollow 76ers Snowmobile Club in Levant to the Newport Elementary School on February 6th. It's a huge mess but a great time, and benefits an awesome cause!
