State Police say the crash took place at around 7:30 Tuesday night along Route 202 in Alfred. Both vehicles ended up hitting two buildings along the road, causing minor damage to both. The road was shut down for about two hours while officials investigated and cleared the scene.

The driver of the car, 62-year-old Mary McNally of Hollis, is being treated at Eastern Maine Medical Center. The truck driver, 50-year-old Elias Kiongo from Knoxville, Tennessee was treated and released today from Southern Maine Healthcare in Sanford.
