A Houlton man accused of killing two men and wounding four others in a violent crime spree was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury.

35-year-old Anthony Lord was indicted on one count of intentional or knowing murder, aggravated assault with a firearm and eluding an officer and three counts of reckless conduct with a firearm.

Lord is also charged with murder and kidnapping in Aroostook County.

58-year-old Kevin Tozier of Lee and 22-year-old Kyle Hewitt of Caribou were killed in the 18-hour crime spree, which started on the night of Thursday, July 16.

Lord is currently being held without bail at the Aroostook County Jail.
