A man crashed his ultralight aircraft and injured his horse when he landed.

According to the BDN, 67-year-old Floyd Ober of Trenton was flying over the southern grassy end of an airstrip at his home when he failed to clear the top of his barn with the aircraft. His horse, that was in the barn at the time, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene after the accident that happened just after 9:00 Saturday morning.

Ober was flown by Lifeflight from his home to Eastern Maine Medical Center. Officials say he sustained significant injuries to his arms and legs.
