Hike for the Homeless in Bangor Celebrates 20th Annual Hike

April 11th take a walk along the scenic Bangor waterfront for a good cause. 

The Bangor Area Homeless shelter is open 24/7 every day of the year with only 37% of the shelter's funds coming from State and Federal funds so donations are the main way the shelter gets the funds to meet their budget.

The annual hike raised $25,000 last year with 802 participants. A donation is not required to participate in the event but everyone is encouraged to donate because if everyone just does a little, a lot can be accomplished. You can register as a family, team, or individual. With a very rough winter this is an especially important year!
