DJ, musician and producer Zedd has released his new single "The Middle" -- and the song features none other than Maren Morris. Readers can press play above to hear the track.

Released on Tuesday (Jan. 23), "The Middle" features Morris on vocals; Zedd also worked with electronic duo Grey for the track. In the song, Morris sings from the point of view of one-half of a couple in a fight: "Take a step / Back for a minute / Into the kitchen / Floors are wet / And taps are still running / Dishes are broken / How did we get into this mess?" Morris sings. "Got so aggressive / I know we meant all good intentions ..."

"So me pull closer / Why don't you pull me close? / Why don't you come on over? / I can't just let you go," goes the chorus of "The Middle." "Baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? / I'm losing my mind just a little / So why don't you just meet me in the middle / In the middle."

Target will feature "The Middle" in a new commercial that will debut during the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday night (Jan. 28). According to a press release, the spot was directed by Dave Meyers and "celebrates the show’s history of unexpected performances that reach across musical genres." The retail chain is also using the song in a series of upcoming commercials, which will begin airing on Feb. 4.

Morris is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards. She released her own new single, "Rich," on Monday (Jan. 22).
